Tiffany N. Adams is president of T. Adams Consulting, LLC, a firm specializing in advocacy program assessment, including meeting and legislative fly-in optimization, and executive and team coaching.
A seasoned public affairs and government relations executive, Tiffany has 25 years of experience working directly with global and domestic businesses and numerous industry trade associations.
Tiffany worked for the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) for more than two decades, serving most recently as Vice President, Public Affairs in the External Relations Division. In this capacity, Tiffany managed a five-person department which executed the NAM’s member and employee engagement programs. She reorganized the Manufacturing Summit, the industry’s annual legislative fly-in, transforming it into a 2-day event with more than 500 participants and 250+ meetings on Capitol Hill and within the Administration.
She reinvigorated and managed the National Public Affairs Steering Committee, the organization’s advocacy committee comprising 150 public and government affairs executives from NAM’s largest member companies, and oversaw over 200 annual in-district events, many in member company facilities across the country, including the congressional recognition and accountability program.
By working across the organization with executive leadership to redesign and execute enhanced Board and member engagement programs in Washington and locally, Tiffany spearheaded growth of 110% in association member advocacy engagement over a two-year period.
She also developed, launched and executed the Manufacturing Executive Leadership Program with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), an annual 3-day program for C-level corporate executives to develop essential strategic leadership skills to communicate effectively with policy makers and engage with government.
Tiffany has served on the Board of the Public Affairs Council and the Women in Government Relations LEADER Foundation, where she also served as chair.
A native New Yorker currently residing in Washington, DC, Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
